Pressure Washing Southeast Houston: Driveway and Siding Before and After
Pressure washing in Southeast Houston makes a big difference fast. Our humid weather, heavy rain, and long summers give mildew, algae, and dirt plenty of time to build up. Recently, we cleaned the driveway and siding at a home in Southeast Houston, and the before and after photos show the change better than words can.

Why Homes in Southeast Houston Get Dirty So Fast
Houston’s climate is hard on the outside of a home. Humidity stays high for most of the year. As a result, shady areas and north-facing walls stay damp, and that moisture feeds green and black growth.
Driveways take a beating too. Car tires, oil drips, leaves, and runoff leave stains that soak into the concrete. Over time, a driveway can look years older than it really is.
The good news is that most of this buildup is on the surface. With the right equipment and method, it comes off.
How We Cleaned This Driveway
Concrete is tough, so it can handle pressure washing. For this driveway, we used a surface cleaner, which spreads the pressure evenly so the concrete comes out clean without streaks or stripes. We also treated the stained areas before rinsing.
In the before photo, the driveway is dark and blotchy. In the after photo, the concrete is clean and even again. Because the driveway is one of the first things people see, this one job changes how the whole house looks from the street.
Soft Washing the Siding
Siding is different. High pressure can damage siding, force water behind it, or strip paint. That’s why we soft wash siding instead.
Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution that breaks down mildew and algae. The solution does the work, and then we rinse it gently. As a result, the siding gets clean without the risk that comes with blasting it.

Benefits of Pressure Washing Your Southeast Houston Home
A clean exterior does more than look nice. Here are a few reasons homeowners call us:
- Curb appeal. A clean driveway and fresh-looking siding make the whole property look cared for.
- Getting ready to sell. Clean concrete and siding help listing photos and showings.
- Less buildup later. Removing mildew and algae now keeps it from spreading.
- Healthier surroundings. Mildew and mold around entryways aren’t something you want to live with. And when the outside looks good, you’ll want to get out and enjoy the area, like the trails at Armand Bayou Nature Center.
How Often Should You Pressure Wash?
For most Houston homes, cleaning the driveway and siding once a year works well. However, shady lots, homes near trees, and homes close to the water may need it more often. If you start to see green or black streaks, it’s time.
